No. VI · A potion of Ruin
Ashes of Eden
The garden, after.
There is a story the House never confirmed: that one of its perfumers was asked to recreate paradise, and refused — and blended instead what paradise smells like once it has been lost. Green fig and cypress smoke. Something growing, something burning, at once.
Ashes of Eden was kept on the highest shelf of the vault, not because it was dangerous, but because everyone who smelled it asked for it, and the House did not believe ruin should be popular.
